Fluridone

Fluridone low dose systemic herbicide selectively controls many of the most troublesome aquatic weeds for a year or longer.

Treated water can be used immediately for swimming, drinking and fishing, thus allowing for recreational activities to continue.

Lakes, reservoirs, ponds, potable waters and canals may be treated.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Follow use directions carefully so as to minimize adverse effects on non-target organisms. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters. Trees, turf, and shrubs growing in water treated with Alligare Fluridone may occasionally develop chlorosis. Do not apply in tidewater/brackish water. Lowest rates should be used in shallow areas where the water depth is considerably less than the average depth of the entire treatment site, for example, shallow shoreline areas.
